亞歷詩‧姬維Aleksis KIVI ﹙1834-72)亞歷詩‧姬維係芬蘭國民最愛戴之本國作家，

亦為第一位芬蘭小說家。

今次乃亞歷詩‧姬維劇本首度譯成粵文及國語。

要翻譯傳統口語敘事文或者姬維之創新語言困難重重，然曾焯文博士俱能一一克服。

又古劍寒之死亡宿命竟不謀而合當今盲目之自殺式恐佈活動及集體毀滅慘案。

Aleksis KIVI﹙1834-72) is the Finnish writer best loved by his countrymen and the first classic Finnish novelist. 

This is the first translation of KIVI's play KULLERVO  into Cantonese and Mandarin. 

Translating traditional oral prose narrative or the richly innovative language used by KIVI imposes

 particular limitations and challenges, which Dr CHEN has met successfully with his Chinese interpretation of KULLERVO.
